The cases comprised 14 persons under the age of 18, and 53 who were 18 years and older. There were 48 people in isolation facilities, while 907 were in home isolation. Two women, aged 55 and 60, succumbed to the virus on Sunday. They were both unvaccinated. As at March 20, the viral illness had claimed 329 lives. The public health laboratory has carried out 603,651 tests since February 2020, and recorded 57,800 COVID-19 cases (26,799 males and 31,001 females). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 150,682 (55.6 per cent of the total population or 66 per cent of the eligible population).
