Of the positive cases, 68 persons were under the age of 18, and 321 were 18 years and older. There were 88 people in isolation facilities, while 2,568 were in home isolation. Two women, aged 80 and 86, died from the virus on Tuesday. They were both unvaccinated. As at April 12, the number of COVID-19 related deaths stood at 381. The public health laboratory has conducted 627,965 tests since February 2020, and recorded 63,357 COVID-19 cases (29,284 males and 34,073 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 161,430 (70.7 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 151,577 (55.9 per cent of the total population or 66.4 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
