Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 162,566 (71.2 per cent of the eligible population).  The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 153,453 (56.6 per cent of the total population or 67.2 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.

Meanwhile there were 30 patients in isolation facilities (three in primary and 27 in secondary isolation) as at 9a.m. Monday, June 27.

Fourteen patients (47 per cent) were unvaccinated and in secondary isolation, while 15 (50 per cent) were fully vaccinated. Of those fully vaccinated, three patients were in primary isolation and 12 were in secondary. One person in secondary isolation was partially vaccinated for COVID-19.

Primary and secondary isolation for COVID-19 patients in Barbados are units which accommodate those who are very ill and need close monitoring and treatment, with primary isolation housing the most severely ill. Tertiary isolation houses patients who are only mildly ill or not showing illness.

It is important to note that the number of persons in isolation is fluid and changes throughout the day as persons are admitted and discharged.(BGIS)
