The cases consisted of 45 persons under the age of 18, and 262 who were 18 years and older. There were 80 people in isolation facilities, while 4,221 were in home isolation. An 87-year-old woman passed away from the viral illness on Friday. As at August 12, there were 516 COVID-19 related deaths. The public health laboratory has conducted 742,069 tests since February 2020, and recorded 97,411 COVID-19 cases (44,061 males and 53,350 females). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 154,166 (56.9 per cent of the total population or 67.5 per cent of the eligible population).
