COVID-19 Update: 24 new cases

Twenty-four people, 10 males and 14 females, tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, September 11, from the 338 tests carried out by laboratories across the island.
Of the positive cases, three persons were under the age of 18, and 21 were 18 years and older.
There were 47 people in isolation facilities, while 427 were in home isolation.
As at September 11, there were 556 COVID-19 related deaths.
The laboratories conducted 759,869 tests since February 2020, and recorded 101,899 COVID-19 cases (46,086 males and 55,813 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 163,445 (71.6 per cent of the eligible population).  The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 154,502 (57 per cent of the total population or 67.6 per cent of the eligible population).  The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older. (BGIS)
