Share FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 338 The daily demands of life often make it difficult for us to dedicate enough time to focus on building up our financial strength and working towards financial wellness. Sagicor is therefore taking the initiative and going directly to individuals in the community to provide advice and a wide range of solutions to members of the public. On Saturday, October 22, the insurance and financial solutions provider will hold the first in its series of โSagicor Community Wellness Tourโ events at the King George V Memorial Park, inviting members of the public to benefit from a number of free and engaging activities. From 12 noon until 5 p.m., Barbadians can take advantage of free health checks, financial wellness check-ups and career guidance, while not having to worry about keeping their children entertained, thanks to the exciting Kidsโ fun zone dubbed โThe Kingโs Playground.โ Small businesses in the area will also gain the opportunity to showcase their enterprises as part of the โSME Hubโ (Small & Medium Enterprise) while Sagicorโs human resources team will be on site to assist persons with resume reviews, career coaching and advice on how to become a Sagicor advisor. Patrons can also stay on for the exciting cricket match. Paul Inniss, Executive Vice President and General Manager for Sagicor Life Inc said that the event is a manifestation of Sagicor commitment to living its vision. โOur vision is to be a great company committed to improving the lives of the people in the communities in which we operate and one of the ways we live our vision is to engage directly with our communities. As such, it is incumbent on us to assist in uplifting our communities as part of the social fabric of our country and in these difficult times, assist individuals and households with budgeting, personal finance, and the like. Individuals should stay connected to our social medial channels to see when our team will be in their community,โ he said. All interested persons are invited to attend and acquire information as they seek to prepare for their childโs future education, plan for their own retirement, or get information on mortgages, investments, and any of the companyโs wide range of insurance products. The Sagicor team will be available to answer all questions as they engage with you while having some fun.
