The 48th edition of the limited-overs competition takes place in Trinidad & Tobago from 29 October to 19 November 2022. Uttamchandani, a Barbados Exhibition Winner, said, “this opportunity is humbling and affords me the chance to spread my wings into another area of cricket commentary and sports journalism”. The Toronto Metropolitan University student added, “I am doing this while balancing my academic pursuits, so between television and radio appearances, I am in classes, submitting assignments and preparing for examinations”. Earlier this year, Uttamchandani partnered with Barbados TODAY for an exclusive one-hour interview with cricketer Jason Holder and was a radio commentator for the popular Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which concluded in Guyana in the summer.
