First it was Ashlyn Simmons, now it’s Layla Haynes. Barbados captured another gold medal moments ago as overseas-based middle distance runner Haynes won the Under-20 girls 1500m. Haynes, a student of the University of Florida, ran the race of her life to outsprint two Jamaicans on the final stretch and clock 4:52.29 minutes.
