In its inaugural year, it features the Positive Vibration album launch by Roy Gramps Morgan, three-time Grammy Award singer and lead singer of Morgan Heritage – also headlining RISE Reggae – and his wife Dr Annabelle Manalo Morgan’s book, Mighty Flower, a Forbes best seller. “With the Morgans, it’s always a family affair and they always want to share with the people,” said Nouvelle Vie’s Orlando Newton. Morgan, a reggae singer, instrumentalist, producer, record executive, and entrepreneur extraordinaire, is thrilled to be sharing the moment with his wife whose book captures her advocacy of the benefits of cannabidiol – her personal story. Dr Annabelle Manalo Morgan, whose Forbes best-selling book ‘Mighty Flower’ willbe featuredon Friday. The launch party will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Halo Ultra Lounge, St Lawrence Gap followed by the RISE Pre-party from 10 p.m. with all the artistes who will be on stage at the show on Saturday night. RISE Reggae will remember music aficionado, the late Warren Jon Doe Forte. Known to be a lover of reggae music, with his personal dubplates of all the night’s artistes, the producers will pay homage on the second anniversary of his passing, and fans can look forward to an interactive tribute.
