Red’s Mission to Mars!

Red Advertising & Marketing Limited today announced that it has joined the Race to Space with its innovative, Barbadian-designed and built, spacecraft – RedY!

The most awarded advertising agency in the Caribbean now wishes to add space exploration to its impressive list of credentials and capabilities.

It plans to circle and then land on, none other than The Red Planet, Mars!
Jevan Jutagir, Managing Director and Chief Astronaut of Red, commented on the mission: “We have been inspired by the list of business tycoons heading into the Final Frontier!

First, it was our old friend Sir Richard Branson with Virgin Galactic. Then Elon Musk with SpaceX and Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin. So, we at Red, never shy of thinking big and punching outside our weight, thought, “If they can do it, why not us?  Why should Barbados not have its own space exploration programme?” Hence, RedY will boldly go where no other Caribbean company or person has gone, to the Final Frontier…Space.

And not just that old chestnut, the Moon. India, China, and Japan have all recently landed there. We want to avoid the traffic. We deal with enough of that at home.

We are truly aiming for the stars…and Mars!”
Jutagir also commented on the motivations behind Red’s mission to Mars,

“We are always looking for new challenges, and ways to stand out. So why not go into space? To seek out intergalactic life forms…particularly ones with image problems and big advertising and marketing budgets!
Additionally, we are still missing one of our creative crew, Jabari, after his unfortunate close encounter with an extraterrestrial species in Red’s basement last Halloween. So far, he has not been allowed to “phone home”.

We hope to make friendly contact with this alien civilisation to exchange ideas….and return Jabari to his rightful place among his Barbadian family and friends!
