Paving will continue in Oistins, Christ Church, from the bottom of Oistins Hill along Maxwell Coast Road on Sunday, from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

The work is being done by Infra Construction Inc. under the Ministry of Transport and Works Accelerated Mill and Pave Programme.

During paving the road will be impassable to vehicular traffic. Motorists heading to Bridgetown will be diverted at Oistins Hill where they can travel along Maxwell Hill to re-join Highway 7; while those heading to Oistins will be diverted at Maxwell Hill. Local and emergency access will be facilitated where possible.

Passengers who use Transport Board buses will be able to embark and disembark at the Oistins Terminal. However, the buses will travel up Thornbury Hill to join the diversion route. A shuttle service will be in place from 7:30 p.m. from Top Rock Roundabout to Maxwell Coast Road. Passengers from the Sam Lords Castle and Speightstown buses can transfer to the shuttle.

The Airport/Kirtons and Sam Lords Castle buses will travel to Oistins to collect passengers travelling to Bridgetown and Speightstown.
