The St Michael School (SMS) dominated on their home court and whipped the ladies from Coleridge and Parry 6-1 in Wednesday’s action in the First Form Division of the Dasani Powerade Barbados Secondary Schools’ Netball Competition.

SMS goal attack Shakyra Green was the lead shooter, scoring five goals from 10 attempts. Sierra Burrowes scored the remaining goal after four tries.

Goal shoot Kehalia Denny of Coleridge and Parry took the lone goal for her team.

However, when the two schools faced off in the Under-15 division, Coleridge and Parry taught the SMS girls a lesson, winning their encounter 14-19 at Martindale’s Road.

The St Peter school’s goal shoot Tyra Griffith netted 12 goals from 19 attempts and Jahzara Payne scored 7 from 21 attempts.

On the SMS side, Makel Alleyne scored 12 goals from 26 attempts and Mahaela Blake got 2 from 8.
