Following a walk-through of the school plant this morning on the heels of repairs at the facility, officials declared the school fit to reopen. Authorities from the Ministry of Education, the Education Technical Management Unit, Principal Herbert Gittens, President of The Barbados Teachers’ Union Rudy Lovellm members of the union’s Health and Safety Committee and the assigned contractor inspected the repairs. The work included the trimming of overgrown trees, the replacement of the ceiling in the nutrition room, and additional work on the ceiling in the Class 4 block.
