His former colleague and friend, Walter Maloney, said he was shaken by Clarke’s passing. He described Clarke as man of integrity and deep faith who went above and beyond to ensure workers in both the public and private sectors were treated fairly. “Dennis loved people, he could not stand to see persons being unfaired. Dennis represented not only represented persons in the public sector but he also did pro bono [work] for persons in the private sector as well,” Maloney said.
