Police received a report that a beach goer had pulled a body to shore. Police from the Black Rock Station responded and viewed the lifeless body, which has been identified as Gregory O’brian Mayers, 73, of Carlton, St James. A medical doctor pronounced death while a family member identified the body. Anyone who can provide any information that can assist with these investigations is asked to call the Black Rock Police Station at 417-7500, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station.
