Bynoe’s body was discovered unresponsive, about 11:30 p.m. on Friday, at Fitts Village Beach, Fitts Village, St James, police said in a news release on Saturday. Police say they received a report that a man was seen going into the water just after 12:30 p.m. on Friday, swimming out to sea and never returning to shore. About 11:30 p.m later that night, the body washed ashore at the same beach. A medical doctor pronounced death while the deceased was identified by a family member. Anyone who can provide any information that can assist with these investigations is asked to call the Holetown Police Station at 419-1700, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station.
