According to the police, the deceased, a passenger aboard the Norwegian Viva cruise ship, was found unresponsive around 1:45 p.m. Reports indicate that the man arrived in Barbados on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. aboard the Norwegian Viva and headed to Brownes Beach, where he was swimming with the turtles. Unfortunately, he got into difficulty and was pulled from the water by onlookers. Ambulance services were called, but despite their efforts, the man showed no signs of life, and a doctor pronounced him dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation by the Hastings/Worthing Police Station.
