In the high-octane world of Caribbean motorsport, one name continues to dominate the conversation: Tremaine Forde-Catwell. As Rally Barbados 2025 speeds into view, all eyes are on the 25-year-old prodigy from St. George, Barbados — a young man with nitro in his veins, a legacy in his DNA, and the full-throttle support of Rude Boy Barbados powering his charge into the elite SM2 class.

Tremaine isn’t just a driver — he’s the heartbeat of the Catwell Racing Crew, a family-fueled, competition-hardened team led by his father and mentor, Gregory Cheese Catwell, who founded the team in 1990. Known across the island for his technical genius and unwavering belief in his son, Cheese is more than just crew chief — he’s the architect of a dream in motion.

From the age of 13, Tremaine has lived and breathed racing. By 10, he’d already stacked up over 100 trophies. At 11, he was crowned Barbados Karting Association Rookie of the Year. And he hasn’t looked back since. His track record includes: three-time King of the Hill Group SM1 Champion; Barbados BCIC Rally Group SM1 runner-up; record holder – BARL Time Attack (since 2019, shattered again in 2023); and two-time MCBI Champion Driver – youngest ever to win it.

But 2025 marks a whole new chapter.

This year, Tremaine steps up to the Specially Modified 2 (SM2) Class, one of the most competitive and technically demanding categories in regional rallying. And he’s not stepping alone. By his side, as always, is his co-pilot and “secret weapon” Shayne Bobby Haynes, a championship-calibre navigator with nerves of steel and the precision of a Swiss clock.

Together, this duo electrified crowds in last year’s King of the Hill and Rally Barbados, becoming a fan favorite with their Rude Boy-branded rocket roaring through the stages and into the hearts of rally lovers across the Caribbean.

Backed by a fierce and loyal pit crew — from P.E. the cameraman and Sanchez in IT, to engine wizard Errol Simpson and motivators like Smokey, Mario, and Fabio — Tremaine is more than a driver. He’s the leader of a movement fueled by grit, loyalty, and the bold, fearless energy of Rude Boy Barbados.

It was Diann Clarke of Massy Distribution who first introduced Tremaine to Rude Boy Brand Manager, Stephen Bennett. From that moment, the alignment was clear: raw talent meets raw energy. Since then, Rude Boy has become more than a sponsor — they’ve become family.

As the countdown to Rally Barbados 2025 begins, Tremaine isn’t just preparing for another race — he’s preparing to etch his name deeper into the annals of Barbadian motorsport history.

So, when you hear the roar of engines in the hills and the crowd chant rising in the distance, know that Tremaine’s coming.

With a record-breaking past and a future bursting with potential, all eyes are on Tremaine as he charges into Rally Barbados 2025. One thing’s certain in Barbados—the road belongs to the Rude Boy.
