Police investigate fatal shooting in the Ivy

The island’s latest homicide victim has been identified as 39-year-old Anderson Calderon of North Close, Wildey, St Michael.

Calderon lost his life in the wee hours of Monday morning during a shooting incident at Skeetes Road, Ivy, St Michael.

Police at the District ‘A’ Station responded to reports of gunfire around 12:03 a.m., and discovered Calderon at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor.

Investigations are continuing.
