Local NewsPublic Notice BCC experiences challenges with its student information system by Barbados Today 15/10/2025 written by Barbados Today 15/10/2025 1 min read A+A- Reset BCC Share FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 89 The Barbados Community College wishes to advise current and former students that, due to some critical changes to the Student Information System (SIS) used by the Student Affairs and Accounts Departments, it will not be immediately able to provide some important services. The college has been working assiduously to transition to a new SIS administered by the Higher Education Development Unit (HEDU); however, the limited access to the existing system has impacted the two key student support departments. The abrupt change has made it impossible for the Accounts Department to accept in-office payments of student registration fees. Those wishing to pay registration fees can do so through SurePay (second, third and fourth year students ONLY) or via wire transfer to the Bank of Nova Scotia, Broad Street, Bridgetown, Account number 100006114 (first year and other students).
