Man found on Worthing Beach identified

The man whose body was found on Worthing Beach on Friday night has been identified as Andre Brian Parris, 52, formerly of Fairholme Gardens, Maxwell, Christ Church.

Police said officers from the Operations Control Room received a report around 7:37 p.m. of gunshots being heard in the Worthing area. On arrival, officers discovered Parris lying unresponsive on the beach. Medical assistance was summoned and a doctor later pronounced him dead at the scene.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
