Police said they received an anonymous report at about 11:19 p.m. that several gunshots had been heard near the community centre in Silver Hill. Preliminary investigations revealed that a group of people had gathered at a business establishment when an assailant approached and opened fire, injuring two men. One of the victims succumbed to his injuries at the scene after being examined by a medical doctor, while the second man was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for urgent medical treatment.Police have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
