At around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to reports that the youngster, later identified as Tyrique Norville, 19, was found dead at home. An air of gloom hovered over the rural community where Norville grew up and residents for the most part were extremely tight-lipped about the circumstances of his death. “This is a sad day for the people of Crab Hill and his family taking it real bad,” said one resident. When Barbados TODAY visited the unpainted two-storey walled house that Norville once called home, a male relative downstairs chanted the lyrics of the popular but mournful Popcaan song, Jah Knows. “Bredda, me wish me coulda see you now. Me still have good advice fi give you now. People tell me say, ‘life goes on’, but me still miss you anyhow,” sang the grieving relative.
