The facility conducted 2,382 tests on Monday, September 27. The cases comprise 103 males and 114 females. Of these individuals, 44 are under the age of 18, and the other 173 are 18 years and older. There are 1,093 patients in isolation. The number of lives lost to the virus has reached 69, following the death of a 63-year-old Barbadian man on Monday at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility. He was unvaccinated. Barbados has recorded 7,981 confirmed cases (3,930 males and 4,051 females) of COVID-19, since March 2020. The public health laboratory has performed 312,968 tests.
