Good Shepherd Primary is off to a perfect start in this year’s Herman Griffith cricket competition.

They recorded their second successive win when they edged St Albans Primary by six runs in the lone match to be played on Wednesday.

While inclement weather caused the other matches to be abandoned, Adoni Greaves found the conditions to his liking as he stroked 47 to lead the home side to 146.

Kevonta Hippolyte was the top bowler for St Albans, taking 2-26.

Powan Hetram then took 3-21, while Jakali Norville and Natari Greaves each took two wickets to dismiss St Albans for 140 in a close contest.

Jaden Connell stroked 22 for St Albans.
