In the first incident, police responded around 6:57 p.m. to reports of gunshots along Brownes Beach, St Michael. Officers from the Hastings/Worthing Police Station discovered the unresponsive body of a man in the area of a business establishment. A medical doctor pronounced him dead at the scene. Initial investigations indicate that a group of persons were attending an event when a disturbance occurred and several gunshots were discharged. Two men and a woman were injured. One of the men was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private motor car, where he later succumbed to his injuries. He has since been identified as 22-year-old Raul Clarke of Gall Hill, Christ Church. The other injured individuals were taken to hospital by ambulance and are receiving medical treatment. Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
