The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 1,048 tests on Friday, July 16. The number of people in isolation is 141. Barbados has recorded 4,251 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (2,063 females and 2,188 males) since March 2020. The death toll from the virus is 48. Tests carried out by the lab have reached 200,344. Public health officials have inoculated 97,714 people with first doses of the COVID-19 vaccines as part of the National Vaccination Programme.
