The new cases comprised 38 persons under the age of 18, and 209 who were 18 years and older. Persons in isolation facilities numbered 117, while 875 were in home isolation. The public health laboratory has carried out 469,077 tests since February 2020, and recorded 28,310 COVID-19 cases (13,437 males and 14,873 females). Deaths from the viral illness remain at 260. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 155,732 (68.2 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of persons who are fully vaccinated is 143,321 (52.9 per cent of the total population or 62.8 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
