Of the new cases, 18 persons were under the age of 18, and 95 were 18 years and older. There were 26 people in isolation facilities, while 1,036 were in home isolation. The number of deaths from the viral illness remains at 473. The public health laboratory has conducted 702,517 tests since February 2020, and recorded 83,776 COVID-19 cases (38,255 males and 45,521 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 162,555 (71.2 per cent of the eligible population).
