Zazzy was nestled behind early pace setter Jericho in the 1570-meter event before taking over the lead at the 4-furlong marker. With jockey Anderson Trotman in the saddle, Zazzy then accelerated away from her rivals on her way to recording her fourth win in six starts. Her performance is almost sure to improve her current ranking of 73, having defeated the likes of favourite Tuff Raggs and Noah David, which were both rated 75. Super Model crossed the finish line in second position for the third time in a row, while Caballito was third and Filmores placed fourth. Winning owner Nalicia Cozier has now won her fourth race for the year. Races will continue on April 13th. (KL) Barbados Today Stay informed and engaged with our digital news platform.
