Police say the caller reported there was a dispute, which had become an altercation between a man and a woman at a residence located at Whopping, Orange Hill, St James. Police quickly responded and met with ambulance personnel who were already at the scene. They were treating a female and informed she had injuries to her head and right arm but they were not life-threatening. She was transported to the QEH by ambulance for medical attention. Police were then pointed to an area where the lifeless body of a man was found naked and slouched against the fencing of his residence. The immediate area was cordoned and an unnatural death investigation is in progress. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor. He had visible injuries about his upper body. Police say a young female is assisting with theย investigations. The identity of the deceased will be announced after his immediate family is informed. Police are asking anyone with information relating to this incident, anyone who witnessed or have a knowledge as to the facts, to contact the Holetown Police Station at 419-1700 Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS).
