Meanwhile, 19 new cases – seven males and 12 females – were identified outof the 746 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. Eight of these persons were already at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility undergoing assessment. There are now 275 active cases on the island. The total confirmed cases are 3,372, comprising 1,600 females and 1,772 males. Thirty-seven persons have died from the viral illness. To date, the laboratory has conducted 132,108 tests.ย Additionally, 380 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday, under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
