The former student of St James Secondary said she decided to write the book as she always had a passion for writing. “I am always writing. I love expressing myself on paper. I believe that there is so much more to life than what we as a people are experiencing and if we can understand the truth behind life, we would live much better lives. As God began to speak to me about my life and the life of my family, I understood that my success is greatly connected to what I believe. So the question was – what did I believe? And am I able to believe what God has said, especially when it overthrows what I currently believe?” she said. The forty-year-old co-pastor and preacher at Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church in St. John said that the title Dare to Believe is aimed at being a living manifestation of what God’s words say so that others can see the proof that God is not just a name we call on but a system for living life the way it was originally intended to be. “Yes, we as a people don’t take note of this, but we are spiritual beings first and then flesh after and God is also Spirit. So the Spirit needs to be fed, and this is where the word of God comes in because it’s how we are nurtured and fed,” she said. The author whose book was published November 11, 2021, said ultimately her book utilizes real-life situations and combines them with biblical truths to inspire persons to go after their dreams. Therefore, she invites persons to purchase her book on Amazon or contact her at 230-1408 to place their pre-orders. “As 2022 slowly approaches, we cannot go back. We must move forward. I invite everyone to get their copy of the book Dare to Believe and use it as a tool to assist you as you move forward and prosper in life,” she said.
