The winners accumulated a massive total of 1001 points to become the clear champions with Boyce House (red) settling for second place with 720 points, ahead of Jordan House (green) who secured third with 682 points. Sobers House (orange) finished narrowly behind Jordan House with 680 points for fourth place while Yearwood House (blue) were fifth place on 553 points and Williams House (purple) last on 496 points. Burnham House was too hot to handle for the other houses and this was clear to see from Jaela Corbin’s performance in the girls Under-13 division, where she completed the 200 metres (29.79) and 400m (78.33) double in style. In the girls Under-17s, Gia Greenidge was the star for Burnham House as she blew the field away to win the 100m (13.07) and 200m (26.86), while also securing third place in the 400m (71.05). Burnham House’s brilliance was also seen in the boys Under-20 100m and 200m where in the former, three of their house representatives – Geovanny Lee (2nd, 11.39), Nikolai Clarke (3rd, 11.75) and Ryanthony Hinds (4th, 11.85) collected valuable points. Clarke, Lee and Hinds were in the mix again in the 400m. Clarked walked away with the title in 50.30 seconds, Lee was third in 60.44 seconds and Hinds finished fourth once more in 62.18 seconds. There were also some commendable performances from the other houses. Jordan House’s Shiloh Green was in a class of his own in the boys Under-13s as he claimed victories in the 100m (14.51), long jump (3.78m), 200m (30.15) and 400m (68.38). In the girls equivalent division, Sobers House’s Zaria Yearwood dashed to victory in 14.49 in the 100m and leapt to 3.94m to defeat all comers in the long jump. In the under 15 boys, Jordan House’s Tyrese McClean was the sprint king as he stamped his authority in the 100m (12.22), 200m (24.54) and 400m (58.97). Williams House’s Jaquan Williams and Jaiko Devonish of Yearwood House produced a heated battle in the boys Under-17 boys division. Williams stepped away from Devonish in the 100m as he clocked 11.46 seconds to Devonish’s 11.91 seconds clocking. Devonish got his revenge in the 400m, however, pulling away from Williams to win in 56.09 seconds, with Williams settling for second in 58.71. In the 200m, Williams got the last laugh as he crossed the line first in 23.86 seconds with Devonish marginally behind in second with a time of 24.03 seconds.
