Police say some individuals were socialising in the vicinity of a bar at around 9:30 p.m. when an armed masked assailant approached from a track and robbed one of them. The assailant then discharged the firearm, injuring another male. The shooting victim was taken for urgent medical care in a private motorcar. He was treated and discharged. The matter was reported to the District E Station, and investigations are continuing. Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any information that may assist to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1800-8477, Police Emergency at 211 or District E Police Station at 419-1703, 419-1737.
